The amazing Lynette Morgan and The Blackwater Valley Boys will be serenading us at the January Country Soul. Lynette and the boys have been playing together for 20 years blending a creative mix of old time country, western swing and cowboy songs to produce an authentic sound driven by their passion for the genre. Fronted by the immensely talented Lynette Morgan vocals and guitar the Blackwater Valley Boys contain some of the hottest and accomplished musos around with Gary Boller on bass, Willy Briggs guitar, steel & vocals, Pat Reyford on guitar & vocals and Chris Haigh on fiddle. If you like your ‘music’ (as this band can play anything) swinging style with twin guitars, steel guitars & sweet vocal harmonies' then come and see this legendary outfit live and in person at the Country Soul.

Sugar Ray Trio
We are delighted to say that the sensational Sugar Ray Trio will be making their CSS debut in January. Playing tunes from the likes of The Nat King Cole trio, Charles Brown & Johnny Moore’s Three Blazers and The Page Cavanaugh Trio, the Sugar Ray Trio really play the Jazz/Blues, Swing and Bebop grooves. Featuring Pat Reyford on lead guitar & vocals, Holly Roberts on piano/keyboards with her “Fats Waller stride to George Shearing block chord style” and last but not least on double bass Mr Wun Yen Chan who’s musical experience ranges from small jazz groups right through to big orchestras and is known to be rock solid to the beat and a great soloist. Don’t miss this rare appearance of such a fabulous trio.
