Uncover how Henry VII harnessed power, image, and ceremony to cement the Tudor dynasty in this sharp and engaging Lunchtime Talk.
About this Event

Step into the world of Tudor England with historian Nathen Amin and discover how the newly crowned King Henry VII utilised propaganda to secure his royal legitimacy.

Explore the wider world of Tudor propaganda. From coins stamped with royal imagery to marriage alliances, public ceremony, and court diplomacy, Henry controlled how his reign was seen and remembered. At the heart of it all stood the Lady Chapel at Westminster Abbey, perhaps his most lasting monument, and the final resting place of many of the Tudor dynasty.

This event is part of our monthly Lunchtime Talk series. On the second Wednesday of every month, join us at St Margaret’s Church for an in-depth exploration of part of the Abbey’s history.
