The Regent’s Wind Quintet is a newly formed, London based ensemble connected to the Royal Academy of Music. All musicians have extensive experience in their respective fields, and seek to expand their musical output through music making and close friendship. The quintet come from a range of backgrounds with members from Norway, Italy, Spain and the UK, which has been vital in enriching their sound world and making them passionate about exploring new and obscure repertoirefrom across the globe. The quintet have received extensive chamber coaching from Maura Marinucci, Anna Noakes and Melanie Ragge and have given recitals in various locations throughout England. They hope to make use of their contacts across Europe to expand their reach and introduce a wider audience to these lesser known works. They are also passionate about inspiring the younger generation and have given workshops and masterclasses to both primary and secondary students
