Beethoven - Cello Sonata No. 3 in A major Op. 69
Lauded for their vibrant and colourful performances Duo Altaira has performed internationally in Europe and Asia. Based in the UK they specialise in Romantic and early 20th century repertoire. In addition to recitals, Duo Altaira has collaborated with Eurhythmy West Midlands, an interpretive dance company. They were invited to perform at the World Culture Festival 2024 in Karachi, Pakistan.
Cellist Daryl Giuliano has had a career spanning several countries as soloist and chamber musician. Originally from Canada, Daryl studied in the United States, France, and the United Kingdom at the Royal Academy of Music in London where she studied with cellist Felix Schmidt. She has won prizes in England with Classical Music at Home and Italy at the Virtuoso & Belcanto Festival in Lucca. Recently, she performed the Elgar Cello Concerto with the Hounslow Symphony Orchestra.
Pianist Dominika Blatt graduated from the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest, studied in Weimar, Germany and at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire as a Weingarten scholar. She was a finalist of Sylvia Cleaver Chamber Music Prize and has given recitals as a soloist and chamber musician around Europe in venues such as Smith Square Hall and Hungarian National Gallery. She is also involved in contemporary music having performed with BCMG Next and Infinite Opera. She is currently an accompanist at London Youth Conservatoire and Bowes Park Community Choir and a former rehearsal accompanist of Leicester Philharmonic Choir.
