Marie Vermeulin is a virtuoso both on the keyboard and in tandem with the electronics surrounding her. The concert features the English premiere of Neal Farwell’s new concerto for Vermeulin and electronics. From Harvey’s Tombeau anchored in the earth to Messiaen’s pianistic outpouring of joy as he looks towards heaven, earth – piano – sky features piano rising, unbound.
Doors open at 1pm and the concert begins promptly at 1.15pm.
Admission is £5 or free for BMN Pass holders, UoB students and staff on presentation of a valid UCard. Please note that tickets can only be purchased on the door via debit/credit card transactions, as we are unable to accept cash payment.
Taking place from Thursday 25th April - Sunday 28th April 2024, Bristol New Music is a city-wide festival of contemporary music and sound.
