She currently serves as Senior Vice President of Security and Guest Services for the New York Mets, where she oversees safety operations at Citi Field and the club’s affiliated facilities in Brooklyn, Syracuse, Port St. Lucie, and the Dominican Republic. She is also responsible for coordinating transportation logistics and managing relationships with community and government partners.

Previously, Sewell served as the 45th Police Commissioner of the New York City Police Department, appointed by Mayor Eric Adams on January 1, 2022.
