On 14 November 2024, the SRA published its long-awaited consultation on potential changes to how client money is handled in the legal sector.

As part of its ongoing review of consumer protection arrangements, the SRA are consulting on potential changes to how and when law firms handle client money, and how this money is protected. This is your chance to provide valuable feedback as part of the consultation process.

Amy Bell has lead the The Law Society Economic Crime Taskforce for nearly 6 years, which means she has learnt a thing or two about responding to consultations!
