An honest, practical workshop to leave you feeling more in control and ready for the next stage. A busy mind and anxiety seem commonplace but do they need to be? We have inbuilt tools to regain calm confidence, although most haven't been taught how to use them.
I'll talk about how we typically misinterpret emotions and tend to react to them in a way that's often unhelpful. I'll share an insight and give handouts to support attendees going forward. We will start off with a simple decluttering exercise and I'll also teach a technique that can be used to instantly feel more grounded based on accupressure points. This talk will be given in the context of reducing the lasting impact of infertility 'trauma' but can be beneficial for all. It's in response to the gap of being encouraged to put our hand up if we're struggling, but not taught how to move to a better place - this workshop will explain a crucial step in the "how". Attendees will leave with a better understanding of how to manage their emotions, rather than be managed by them.
About The Speaker
Karen supports women to reduce the long-term impact of infertility trauma and reach their goals while trying to conceive, pregnant or later.
Karen’s passion comes from her own infertility and having experienced its ripple effects through pregnancy and parenthood. Following a successful career as a lawyer, Karen retrained as a specialist Fertility & Pregnancy Coach after witnessing the crucial need for personal support at this time. Karen went on to become an EFT, Hypnosis, NLP Practitioner, and Life & Success Coach.
Her work is featured in the national press including Newsweek. Karen is also a regular speaker on BBC radio, a best-selling author and a best fertility coach finalist (named by the European Fertility Society).
