About this Event
Lunar New Year Yoga + Art Workshop
Lunar New Year marks the beginning of the year based on the lunar calendar and is celebrated across many cultures as a time of renewal and intention-setting. 2026 is the Year of the Horse, symbolizing vitality, freedom, and forward movement guided by intuition.
In this workshop, we’ll explore how these themes align with Bhakti yoga, a heart-centered practice rooted in devotion and conscious action. Together, we’ll honor ritual and presence through a gentle yoga flow, followed by crafting and designing DIY red paper lanterns—a symbol of welcoming light and fresh energy into the year ahead.
No yoga or art experience needed. All materials are provided, and you’ll leave with your finished lantern, a sense of calm, and a meaningful start to the new year.
