Led by singer, percussionist LUISON CAPOTE the group brings the heat of Cuba to the dance floor through a rich & vibrant repertoire. Drawing from styles such as Latin jazz, son cubano, rumba, afro, cha-cha-chá, bolero & more, their music is deeply rooted in tradition while alive with modern energy.
Luison Capote was born in Cuba & has shared his musical talent internationally for over 32 years primarily in Norway, Danmark, Sweden, England & New York. He is recognised as one of Norway’s leading Cuban musicians, known for his voice, masterful percussion & his charisma. Inspired by the music from Buena Vista Social Club, the band takes audiences on a musical journey to Cuba — a Caribbean night where rhythm, melody & groove come together. The beats of the congas, Luison’s distinctive voice, & the interplay of piano, bass & percussion create a musical conversation that bridges past & present, tradition & hot dance-floor rhythms.
