Lucy Patané: vocals and 12-string guitarLUCY PATANÉ is an Argentine virtuoso guitarist, composer and record producer.
After founding projects such as Las Taradas, El Tronador, La Cosa Mostra, and having produced more than 40 albums for different artists, in 2019 she released her eponymous solo debut which was awarded at the 2020 Gardel Awards (highest award of the Argentine music industry) as ""Best Alternative Rock Album"".
That same year he released the EP ""Ramón"" and in 2021 the EP ""A Dos Pianos"", experiences focused on compositions and arrangements for piano. In 2021 she also released the 7'' vinyl EP ""Nevada / La del Avión"" (Deseo Discos) which returns her to songwriting: An A-side with progressive rock airs and an acoustic B-side with airs of Carioca romanticism.
“Hija de Ruta” is their 2nd album, and it disembarks in their most raw, sophisticated, distorted and brutal sound.
If in her debut the fantasy was the support for narratives about interpersonal bonds, now the reality breaks in the middle all pretension of emotional metaphors.
As missions to be overcome track by track, the rock poet traces her roadmap as a daughter of the same, to the cry of restoring the status quo of an art, music, which struggles between its commercial contradictions and identity self-preservation.
