About the Workshop
Come learn how to tie the lucky knot — a symbol of protection and good fortune in many Asian cultures. Traditionally made with red cord, these knots are believed to ward off evil spirits and bring luck to their owners.
In this hands-on workshop, participants will learn the foundational lucky knot technique and explore ways to personalize their knot using beads and discs. This workshop is beginner-friendly and designed to be both meditative and communal.
Each participant will leave with:
- At least one finished lucky knot
- Step-by-step knot-tying instructions from the artist
- A zine featuring different kinds of traditional knots
