HOMEBUYER EDUCATION PROGRAM
In order to be eligible for a Certificate of Education, you must attend the workshop from beginning to end.
December 7th, 10am-4pm: Discussion of Homebuyer's Timeline, Advantages/Disadvantages of buying a home, Importance of Credit; and presentations from a Mortgage Lender, Real Estate Agent, Real Estate Attorney, Home inspector, and Homeowners Insurance Agent; and discussion around options for Down-Payment & Closing Cost Assistance.

Founded in 1982, LUCHA is both a U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD)-approved housing counseling agency as well as a Community Housing Development Organization (CHDO). LUCHA (the Spanish word for "struggle") advances housing as a human right by empowering communities- particularly the Latino and Spanish-speaking populations- through advocacy, education, affordable housing development and comprehensive housing services.
