Il giorno 18 Maggio Alliance Park Project, in collaborazione con Geo's e Associazione Pescatori Cava Cabassi, organizza la Lucciolata (camminata lenta nel Parco, con osservazione delle Lucciole), nella splendida cornice del Parco delle Cave a Milano.
Il Parco delle Cave è l'unico posto a Milano in cui si possano vedere le lucciole, al tramonto. E' un Parco protetto, in cui le luci sono posizionate solo lungo le vie principali e non nei piccoli sentieri del che percorreremo, nel bosco. Il periodo di questo fenomeno naturale meraviglioso è molto ristretto e va da metà mese di Maggio ai primi giorni di Giugno.
Programma:
- 21:00: Ritrovo in Via Forze Armate 320/A (in fondo alla stradina chiusa, accanto al distributore ENI), presso la sede dell’Associazione Pescatori Cava Cabassi.
Accoglienza, verifica della lista dei presenti, breve introduzione sul Parco e sul fenomeno delle lucciole, in attesa del tramonto.
- 21:30: Partenza per la passeggiata. Il percorso è di circa 3 km, su strada sterrata. Necessarie scarpe da ginnastica o da trekking leggere.
- 23:15 (circa): fine passeggiata e ritorno al luogo di partenza.

Alliance Park Project è un patto fra associazioni ed enti che hanno a cuore la salute, la conservazione e la valorizzazione del Parco delle Cave, polmone verde ad Ovest di Milano.
Per non disturbare gli animali del Parco e gli altri partecipanti, sarà vietato fotografare con flash e usare torce e luci.
Chiediamo gentilmente di camminare lentamente, in silenzio e di non allontanarsi sia dal sentiero che dall’accompagnatore, per il concreto rischio di schiacciare/disturbare le lucciole, non sempre visibili.
Si raccomanda pieno rispetto per il Parco che ci accoglie.
Per chi viene in auto: ampio parcheggio in Via Cancano e Via Bianca Milesi.
Per chi viene con i mezzi:
- Metro 1 Fermata Bisceglie + Bus 63 fermata Via Forze Armate Via Cividale.
- Metro 1 Fermata Bande Nere + Bus 67 fermata Via Forze Armate Via Cividale.

On 18 May, the Alliance Park Project, in collaboration with Geo’s and the Cava Cabassi Fishermen’s Association, is organising the Lucciolata (slow walking in the Park, looking for fireflies) in the stunning setting of Parco delle Cave in Milan.
Parco delle Cave is the only place in Milan where you can see fireflies at sunset. It is a protected park, where lights are only installed along the main paths and not on the narrow trails we will be walking along in the woods. This wonderful natural phenomenon occurs over a very short period, from mid-May to early June.
Programme:
- 9.00 pm: meet at Via Forze Armate 320/A (at the end of the dead-end road, next to the ENI petrol station), at the headquarters of the Associazione Pescatori Cava Cabassi.
Welcome, check-in, brief introduction to the park and the phenomenon of fireflies, whilst waiting for sunset.
- 21:30: departure for the walk. The route is approximately 3 km, on a dirt track. Trainers or light hiking boots are required.
- 23:15 (approx.): end of the walk and return to the starting point.

Alliance Park Project is a partnership between associations and organisations committed to the health, conservation and enhancement of Parco delle Cave, a green area in the west of Milan.
To avoid disturbing the park’s wildlife and other participants, the use of flash photography, torches and lights is prohibited.
We kindly ask you to walk slowly, avoid making noise, and not to stray from the path or the guide, as there is a real risk of crushing or disturbing the fireflies, which are not always visible.
We ask that you show full respect for the park that is hosting us.
For those arriving by car: ample parking is available in Via Cancano and Via Bianca Milesi.
