Join us for an extraordinary journey through the vibrant cultures of Africa at our special exhibits, "Shades of Africa: A Continent of Vibrant Colors and Design" and "African Rhythms: Instruments of the Motherland". Get ready to immerse yourself in the vibrant colors and captivating rhythms of Africa. This in-person event showcases the beauty of African textiles and designs. Explore the rich cultural heritage of Africa through the rhythmic beats that will transport you to the heart of the continent.
Opening Reception:
Join us for the opening of these exhibits on Saturday, February 22nd from 5 PM to 9 PM for an exclusive wine and cheese reception. The opening night will feature live performers from Africa between 7PM and 8PM. Their captivating performances will bring the rhythms of Africa to life while providing an unforgettable experience for all in attendance.
Exhibit Hours:
Saturdays: 12 PM - 5 PM
Sundays: 1 PM - 5 PM
Monday through Friday by appointment only for Schools, Youth and Special Groups.
