Join Our Lowcountry Cooking Course
Local Chef and Foodie Bradley Ransier will take you on a culinary journey as we explore the rich traditions of the Lowcountry, extending from South Carolina through the Georgia Coast. This hands-on class will showcase the haute cuisine of Charleston and Savannah and the farm-to-table Gullah traditions of the coastal islands.

What You’ll Learn:
- Discuss and prepare dishes that reflect the diverse culinary influences of the Lowcountry.
- Explore both elegant Southern coastal cuisine and the rustic traditions of Gullah cooking.
- Prepare and cook pan-fried soft-shell crab, fried green tomatoes, and Frogmore Stew.
- Learn how to properly clean soft-shell crabs and pick blue crabs like a pro.
Class Information:
- Our classes are designed for all skill levels – no experience is needed to attend.
- Students will receive printed recipes, tasting portions of the food prepared in class, and beverage service when applicable.
- Students will work in groups to prepare the recipes. Expect to meet new people and have fun!
Cancellation Policy:
- If you need to cancel your class booking, you can do so up to 48 hours before the class and receive a refund or class credit.
- If The Mix has to cancel a class for any reason, you will be notified immediately by phone or email and will have the option of switching to another class of equal value or receiving a full refund.

- No refunds will be issued after a class has been held.
