Low Carbon Transport Talk - Tuesday 9th June

This FREE event is running twice on the same day to make it easier for people to attend. Both sessions are the same.

Come along to the Environment Centre(behind Morgan's Hotel), to find out about low carbon transport issues, solutions and more. Starting with the policy perspective at both national (UK and Wales) and local (Swansea) level, we will then delve into practical actions and initiatives designed to help citizens reduce their travel carbon footprint. These include:

• Swansea's BRAND NEW electric car club
• £1 bus fares for under 21 year olds
• The financial and environmental benefits of Swansea Council's switch to electric vehicles
• The recently announced £6.7M investment in Swansea's walking and cycling routes, safe travel, electric car charging points and other transport improvmeents
• ...and more!

We are also keen to hear your ideas and proposals to help Swansea achieve a well-functioning Low Carbon Transport System.

These talks are being held by The Big Climate Leap as part of The Great Big Green Week.
