Loving Room brings local performers and music lovers with a mission to provide intimate and inspiring experiences in beautiful cosy spaces. Because who doesn’t want to discover new locations and upcoming talent all in the same space at the same time?

Grew up in the blueridge mountains of virginia, playing banjo and cello. Classical Conservatory and 20 years of songwriting. Currently working on a True-Crime folk opera and building violins.

Gerben writes songs in English and Dutch, in whatever genre fits the theme of the song. In his music he wants to reach out to the audience with themes that personally touch him, using the full range of his guitar sound and poetic vocabulary.

Known for her low, soulful voice, ALEXANDRA blends sounds of pop and rock — with a soft spot for melodic rap. Her songs often pair fast-paced, rhythmic lyrics with playfully haunting melodies, reminiscent of the sounds of Ed Sheeran, Hozier, Miley Cyrus, and Slim Shady.
Her debut single, "PALATABLE" is a true testament to her sound, which also echoes the song's theme of breaking away from people-pleasing habits and strengthening your ability to trust yourself. The song is a true middle finger accompanied by a resounding "no thank you" to any invitations to mute yourself — fittingly marking the rebirth of her music career with an anthem of authenticity.
Originally from Singapore, ALEXANDRA is also Dutch and Indonesian. Her multi-world background often inspires her songwriting and creative work. Currently based in Amsterdam, she has performed in many countries and collaborates with artists and producers around the world.
