Loving Kindness: Restorative Yoga & Acupuncture Workshop with Maggie Dunne

This Restorative Yoga and acupuncture workshop is all about allowing our bodies to rest and drop into stillness. The focus will be on passive, supportive poses and the use of props - such as blankets, bolsters, and blocks - to encourage the body to relax deeply into forward folds, twists, and backbends, and let go of physical and emotional tension. The emphasis will be on heart-opening, and heart-relaxing poses to invite feelings of acceptance and compassion and on infusing our practice with loving kindness meditations and intentions. This workshop will involve 2/3 acupuncture needles during the last 20/25 minutes of the practice. The acupuncture is completely optional. You can choose to rest in a restorative pose with no needles if you prefer! Suitable for all levels.
