About this Event

What to Expect at the Love Wins Cup

The Love Wins Cup is a 7v7 grassroots football tournament bringing together LGBTQ+ players, fans, and allies. Join us for our first-ever event, celebrating inclusivity and the growth of LGBTQ+ football across Hampshire.

You can enter as a team of friends (LGBTQ+ and/or allies) or as an individual, randomly assigned to a team. The event is mixed-gender, welcoming trans, intersex, and non-binary players, and forms part of the FA’s Mixed Gender Football pilot.

Date & Time: Saturday 28 Feb 2026, 13:00–5:00 pm
Location: Chapel Gate, Bournemouth BH23 6BL
Entry Fee: £30 per team (BACS payment, details sent on confirmation)
Prizes : Awards for winners and runners-up
Participation: pitch-side interviews and insight collection to help shape LGBTQ+ football in Hampshire.
