Love at First Sight: Dog Adoption Event at Southern Living Idea House
WHAT: Ready to find your new best friend? Southern Living is hosting a dog adoption weekend at the Southern Living Idea House in Kiawah River, in partnership with PEDIGREE® and the Charleston Animal Society.
Charleston Animal Society has been protecting animals since 1874, and had 4,484 animal adoptions, 72 cruelty cases investigated, 11,673 spay-neuters, and 23,318 humane education lessons to children in the last year alone. All of their dogs come spay-neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. When you adopt a dog, you save a life.
Part of the Mars family of brands, the PEDIGREE brand is committed to supporting the shelter and rescue organization community to help find every dog a loving home. In fact, in a study* by the PEDIGREE brand on pet ownership, the majority of dog owners (56%) say their bond with their pup was immediate and almost all dog owners (86%) bonded with their pets within a few weeks. TICKETS: Tickets must be purchased at https://dillardjones.com/ to tour the home and attend the adoption event. A portion of the proceeds will benefit local organizations.
