Three Cheeses in 3 Hours - October

Since 2008 Jeremiah Farm & Goat Dairy has been providing the greater Charleston area with fresh Grade A raw goats milk. eggs and handmade goats milk soaps. Farmer Casey teaches classes on cheese and soap making and she and Farmer Tim lead educational farm tours for small groups as well.

Now its time for you to come and see for yourself just how easy (and tasty)it is to make your own fresh cheeses.

When you arrive we will introduce you to the milk goats and give you a brief tour of the gardens, then gather some fresh ingredients and convene in the farmhouse kitchen where Casey will take the mystery out of basic cheesemaking and put the ability into your hands.

Selections could include feta, mozzarella, whole milk ricotta, queso fresco or paneer (we'll only have time to make 3). We often sample whey ricotta and chevre as well plus offer tips on using the remaining whey in other fun and resourceful ways.

Bring your appetite, because we consume all we make in this class! Recipes are included with your participation.
