About the facilitator:
Poet-singer, MC-producer, multi-instrumentalist... Diz Undone (formerly known as Dizraeli) is a genre all of his own, and is long established as a gem of the world of spoken word. Since his debut solo album Engurland (2009), he’s won the BBC UK Poetry Slam Championship, led the groundbreaking band Dizraeli & The Small Gods to underground success, built himself a cult following around Europe and played to audiences of thousands around the world.
He’s supported Saul Williams and Mos Def on their UK tours, worked with artists from The Royal Shakespeare Company to Kae Tempest and Scroobius Pip and had his music and poetry played on BBC Radio 1, 1Xtra, Radio 2, Radio 3, Radio 4 and 6Music.
Diz’s live solo show straddles acoustic musicianship, spoken word and storytelling: by turns funny, heartbreaking and riotous. A master of the stage.
“Incredible... make sure you catch him live” Gilles Peterson
“A vital poetic voice in UK rap” Line of Best Fit
“Immense artistic vision... a fascinating artist.” Earmilk
