Left of the Dial Promotions Presents:Mitch Polzak at The Melon Ball
Friday, June 5th 2026 7:00 pm door / 7:30 pm show
Mitch Polzak is a Northern California musician, bandleader, and entertainer known for his high‑energy blend of rockabilly, honky‑tonk, and classic country.
He fronts Mitch Polzak & The Royal Deuces, a trio founded in 1999 that’s been performing American roots music worldwide for more than 20 years. A virtuosic guitarist, singer, and banjoist, Polzak channels the spirit of Jerry Lee Lewis, Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard, and Waylon Jennings, mixing rockabilly, Bakersfield Sound, surf, bluegrass, Cajun, and early rock ’n’ roll into what he calls a “potluck of American musical flavor.”
He performs roughly 230 shows per year, often without a set list, building each show around audience energy. Polzak was inducted into the Western Swing Hall of Fame (2024) and has shared stages with Brian Setzer, Duane Eddy, Big Sandy & The Fly Rite Boys, and Marty Stuart & His Fabulous Superlatives.
His performances radiate joy, humor, and authenticity—earning him the nickname “The Honky Tonk Mister Rogers.
