Lost Wax Jewellery Workshop - Make Your Own Pendant With Maltpress
Welcome to our Lost Wax Jewellery Workshop where you can get hands-on and create your very own unique pendant with Maltpress Trading! Join us for a fun and creative session where you will learn the fascinating Lost Wax technique. Local artist and jewellery maker Phoebe Kaniewska will guide you through the history of lost wax, and the tips and tricks needed to make your own charm, amulet or pendant. You will have time to experiment, design and sculpt your own piece.
Once you have made your piece in wax, Phoebe will take it to be cast in Hatton Gardens so it becomes permanent in solid metal. Phoebe will then finish and polish the pieces in her studio, before returning your pieces to you between 4-6 weeks after the workshop.
You can choose between bronze or sterling silver for this workshop. Gold plating is an additional £40. There will be additional options to cast multiple pieces too!
