Saturday · January 248:30 PM – 10:30 PM
A night of Cuban and Brazilian music presented the way it should be heard: close, warm, and alive in the room.
Los Sóngoros draw from deep Cuban roots and Brazilian rhythm, weaving vocals, Cuban tres, violin, mandolin, guitar, and traditional percussion into a sound that feels lived-in rather than loud. The group takes its name from a Cuban poem and a line in Guantanamera, which already tells you they care about the details.
They’ve studied directly with Cuban music masters, and it shows. Nothing flashy. Just real music, played well, by people who mean it.
