About this Event
Many of us are carrying more than we can easily name: fatigue, grief, disconnection, and a longing for community that feels warm, human, and alive. In moments like these, it’s easy to feel isolated or unsure where we belong.
Los Korasones Avlan: The Hearts Speak, offers a different kind of gathering. Rooted in Sephardic song and story, this live experience draws on music traditionally carried through generations, often by women, to create a space of shared presence, remembrance, and joy. Ladino, Hebrew, Middle Eastern and Mediterranean influences weave together melodies that speak to resilience, humor, love, and the simple act of showing up together.
This is not a passive concert. Gentle audience participation, responding, and listening together, invites a sense of connection without pressure or performance. You’re invited exactly as you are.
You’ll leave feeling uplifted, connected, and reminded that community is still possible, through song, shared breath, and the power of being seen and heard together.
