Loop & Learn
Join Textile artist Millie Radovic for a relaxed, practical workshop focused on making, conversation and skill building. The first workshop is beginner friendly where participants can experiment with techniques, develop confidence working with crochet and enjoy a welcoming social studio environment centred around making and shared learning. For those with experience in crochet, there will be an intermediate workshop available experimenting with more advanced techniques.
Who should attend?
This workshop is open to beginners and anyone curious about crochet, as well as makers looking to refresh or expand their crochet skills.
What's included?
A guided crochet workshop led by textile artist Millie Radovic including step by step instruction, demonstrations of foundational techniques and time to practice and develop your skills. You will walk away with your own flower wall hanging.
What should I bring and wear?
You will need to bring your own scissors. Participants are also welcome to bring their own crochet hooks or yarn if they would like to use or continue working with them. A notebook may be useful for taking notes on techniques and patterns.
Meet Millie Radovic
We are pleased to introduce Brisbane based textile artist Millie Radovic whose practice explores crochet and fibre based techniques through a contemporary lense. Within her workshops and teaching , Millie will share her knowledge of crochet in an accessible way, encouraging experimentation, skill building and creative confidence.

Workshop Cancellation Policy:
Please note this workshop can be cancelled by artisan due to unforeseen circumstances or if minimum numbers are not reached - this decision is made between 2-7 days before the workshop date so don't delay in buying your ticket! In the event of the workshop being cancelled by artisan, participants will be refunded in full and as soon as possible.
Participant Cancellation Policy:
Workshops have limited spaces and involve preparation by the facilitator. Bookings cancelled up to two weeks prior to the start of the workshop may be refunded, but a 20% non-refundable administration fee will be deducted. Bookings cancelled within two weeks of the workshop commencing will not be refunded. Refunds are to be processed by the attendee through Humanitix.
Workshop Transfer Policy:
You are also welcome to transfer your booking to another person prior to the workshop commencing. Please confirm this arrangement 24 hours prior to the workshop in writing to [email protected].
