Welcome to the sixteenth year of the London Cup Kendo tournament, an event spread over 3 days. This year, we are adding new categories to the competition!Friday:
- Welcome Jigueiko
Saturday:
- Teams of 5 mixed (limited to two teams per dojo)
Sunday:
- Ladies individual 2nd Dan and below
- Ladies individual 3rd Dan and up
- Mens individual 2nd Dan and below
- Mens individual 3rd Dan and up
- 6/7th Dan mixed

Based in the heart of Central London, close to famous landmarks and excellent transport links, the tournament aims to bring an exciting and dynamic event to the capital.
The London Cup is a goodwill tournament open to all EKF/IKF members that strives to bring teams from different nations together to enjoy kendo, friendship, and exchange. Whether you are a high-level competitor seeking a new challenge or a beginner looking for a new experience and a good weekend of kendo, you are warmly welcome.
As a goodwill event, the London Cup looks to develop competitors' skills through active competition and refereeing. To keep this spirit of active participation at all levels, we will invite participants to help as shinpan.
The London Cup is a non-profit event, run by volunteers purely to promote kendo in the UK. All funds from registration go towards the vital running costs.
