A group of second-generation Bangladeshi men in East London find identity and purpose through their shared passion for motorcycles.
As they move through the city, they confront societal prejudice, cultural expectations, and questions of masculinity. Beneath their bold exterior lies a search for belonging and recognition in a world that often marginalises them.
The film reveals moments of strength and vulnerability, presenting a layered portrait of youth, identity, and community.
Director - Arun Nangla & Laura Pavone
Arun Nangla is a documentary photographer and filmmaker whose work focuses on identity, migration, and the long-term impact of the Partition of the Indian subcontinent. Based in London, his projects explore the representation of South Asian communities in the UK.
Laura Pavone is a London-based film colourist with a background in film restoration in Italy, where she worked on major archival projects including those of Charlie Chaplin and the Lumière brothers. She has since contributed to the post-production of award-winning films and documentaries.
Together, they bring a visually rich and human-centred approach to storytelling, combining documentary realism with cinematic sensitivity.
