On Wednesday 27th May we will be welcoming the MED Theatre for a performance of Locked In The Library.Mia got caught up reading one of her favourite books in the corner of the library, but when she realises it has gotten dark outside, it’s too late… she’s locked in! Join Mia as she meets lots of interesting characters in her attempt to escape the building, and the possibility of being stuck in the world of books forever.
Locked in the Library is an original show featuring some well-known book characters that aims to encourage young readers and prove that libraries are a place of fun, exploration, and joy. In this offer for libraries, audiences are also invited to join the performers in a friendly sharing circle, where we will play story-based games, and then everyone has the chance to share their favourite book character and as a group we will play with bringing those characters to life in a fun and informal workshop.
Suitable for all the family! (Please note children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult.)
