A message from your Event Host:
My name is Pablo, I am a Vancouver based, Mexican-born Photographer, visual artist and adventurer. Driven by a curiosity for exploring and discovering new places and things, he aims to tell inspiring and visually enthralling stories.
Specializing in Travel, Lifestyle and Aerial photography, he captures the beauty of the natural world through an artistic eye.
My mission is to inspire and motivate others to pursue their own passions and live life with purpose; roaming as much of the world as he can in the process.
I wanted to create something unique—an opportunity for people to try something new while bringing two local communities together.
After weeks of research, I landed on a photography &
skateboarding event, where attendees can build on their skills or start a
portfolio, whether behind or in front of the lens. As a growing fan of board
sports, this theme felt like the perfect fit.
The location, Leeside Skatepark,
a DIY-built space by Vancouver’s skate community, is named
after Lee Matasi, an artist and skateboarder who passed away in 2005.
Today, it’s a hub for skateboarding, BMX, and even live music.
