About This Event: This summer, House of Shine invites families, friends, and community members to take part in our Journey Stick Program — a meaningful local experience designed to help participants collect, document, and reflect on the moments that matter most.
A Journey Stick is a storytelling tool that turns summer adventures into something tangible, memorable, and lasting.
Local participants are invited to two optional in-person gatherings in Grapevine: a on May 30 at 10:00 AM at Peace Plaza and a closing celebration on August 22 from 10:00 AM–12:00 PM at Peace Plaza. Participants are welcome to attend one or both events, but in-person attendance is not required to participate in the overall experience.
Those who attend the kickoff will receive supplies to help them get started. House of Shine will provide sticks while supplies last, and participants are also welcome to bring their own stick. After the welcome, attendees can continue with a Serentripity experience along Main Street and an Open House back at House of Shine.
Throughout the summer, all participants will receive House of Shine touchpoints designed to keep the experience fun, reflective, and connected. Expect prompts, challenge ideas, reminders, participant highlights, and invitations to share photos and memories along the way.
