Lizette Wong is a pianist, composer, and songwriter born and raised in Temple, Texas. She was first exposed to jazz by enrolling in the middle school jazz band directed by Marcos Duran. She studied jazz throughout high school, performing with the Temple Highlighters and taking private lessons. Lizette has studied piano under Benjamin Irom, Dave Wild, and Jeff Hellmer, and is currently taking lessons from Sean Giddings. Lizette is now a senior at the University of Texas at Austin, where she is double majoring in electrical and computer engineering and jazz piano. She is grateful for the teachers, friends, and family who have supported and encouraged her throughout her musical journey.
Each concert is free to attend, please RSVP to guarantee a seat for the show (capacity is limited to 45 seats for each recital) This is a live-taping, so we'll be enforcing a whisper-policy.
Cold bottles of still and sparkling water will be available for purchase, and there are 22 free parking spots available onsite inside our gate of the complex available to attendees.
