BOOKING ESSENTIALJoin us for a social walk around Lizard Point learning a little about Cornwall’s dramatic maritime past.
Starting from the Lizard National Trust car park (next to the lighthouse) and tracing the cliffside paths, your guide will bring to life tales of daring rescues, tragic losses, and the heroic efforts of the lifeboat crews.
These walks are led by volunteer walk leaders and offer the opportunity for everyone to spend time in nature and meet new people. Everyone is welcome, of all abilities and experience, and the walk leader will facilitate the walk to ensure everybody feels comfortable.

What to bring and wear
Please come in sturdy footwear and bring some waterproofs in case of showers.
Accessibility
The route follows sections along the South West Coast Path, including uneven ground, steep gradient, steps and a number of stiles. The walk can be muddy so please wear sturdy boots, trainers will not be suitable.
