For anyone experiencing hearing loss β and the loved ones who support them.
Are you noticing changes in your hearing, or supporting someone who is?
Join us for an afternoon of practical advice, demonstrations, and friendly conversations designed to help you live well with hearing loss.
Whether youβre newly noticing changes or have been living with hearing loss for some time, this event offers ideas, support, and connections for you and those close to you.
Come along for the whole afternoon or drop in for the sessions that interest you most.
Whatβs on offer
- π€ Keynote from NHS Audiology β understanding hearing loss
- π£οΈ Breakout sessions including:
- Lipreading tasters β practical techniques for everyday communication
- BSL tasters β learn basic British Sign Language signs and phrases
- Better Conversations: A guide to supporting loved ones with hearing loss β communication tips for family and friends
- π§ Technology demonstrations β try hearing loops, sound games, and assistive equipment
- π¬ Information Stalls β meet NHS teams, local charities, and community organisations
- π HISS Service β free 5-minute hearing checks (not a full test) and hearing aid services

4:00 β 7:00 pm β Breakout Sessions & Main Hall Activities
Each breakout runs three times, so you can attend multiple sessions during the event.
