Living with Drones
Advertisement
An interactive live journalism show about the devastating and traumatic impacts of Israel’s use of drones in the besieged Gaza strip.
About this Event

By tying together personal narratives and documentation about the on-the-ground reality of this genocide, Living with Drones weaves a compelling narrative that asks audiences to engage with violations of humanitarian and international law in Gaza since October 2023.

Employing the war diary narrative, the show takes audiences into the day-to-day experiences of life in Gaza while drawing parallels between previous wars and the continued assault on Gaza today. Living with Drones asks audiences to consider their role as citizens of the world, offering opportunities for collaboration and engagement through a curated series of calls to action.

All proceeds from ticket sales for this performance will be donated to (Palestinian Students and Scholars at Risk) to support more students from Gaza in securing fully-funded opportunities for graduate studies in Canada. To date, PSSAR has assisted 102 Palestinian students and is striving to support even more in 2026. Their support covers application and visa fees, and they collaborate with partners to fund flight tickets, settlement costs, and additional expenses. To learn more, please visit https://pssar.ca.

➤ Vendors will be at the venue with merchandise available as part of the fundraiser. Please bring cash if you’d like to make a purchase and support their work.

➤ If you would like to make a donation to PSSAR in addition to purchasing your ticket, please select the "Donation to PSSAR" option when checking out.

➤ If price or mobility is a barrier, please email [email protected]. If purchasing a Student Ticket, please be prepared to present student identification upon arrival.

This show is co-hosted by the Windsor Law Chair in Palestinian Human Rights in Canada and the Palestinian Student Support Advisor.

This show is possible through the support of many organizations and individuals including the Palestinian Scholars and Students at Risk network (PSSAR); The Muslim Fund; and Toronto Metropolitan University’s Creative School. It is produced by stitched! studio.
