•Land (Soil Fertility, Hay Sampling, W**d Management, Landscae Position)
•Livestock (Which animals, Rotational Grazing, Fencing)
•Forages (Legumes, Grasses, Warm Season, Cool Season)
Each class will be held at the UF/IFAS Extension office in Duval County. Registration is per workshop, this listing is for the Feb 17th Pasture Management Workshop. You can attend in person or via Zoom.
Feb 17th - Pasture management
June TBD- Backyard ponds
July TBD- Sheep & goats
August TBD - Backyard poultry
September TBD- Cool-season/wildlife forages
October TBD- Drones on the farm
March TBD- Cattle for the small farmer
Each workshop will be $5 to attend. Check out our neighboring counties (Clay and St Johns) to sign up if you miss the dates offered in Duval. Sign up for them all, or pick the ones you need!
