Nymphs & Thugs have been producing spoken word poetry events around the UK since 2016. During that time, they’ve gradually earned a reputation as being one of the most vital and dynamic event producers on the UK’s thriving scene, and these ‘LIVEwire’ nights were the catalyst. Featuring internationally acclaimed poets alongside some of the most exciting newly established poets in the UK, ‘LIVEwire’ will transform your perception of poetry forever.

From the back rooms of pubs to sold-out theatre shows; from music festivals to libraries; these events continue to entertain and enthral. Each ‘LIVEwire’ event will feature two professional poets alongside a small showcase section featuring freshly emerging acts from around the North West. A sold-out show at The Edge kick-started the ‘LIVEwire’ UK tour in 2019, and this was followed by a second sold-out show in November 2021 – so, make sure you buy your tickets as soon as possible!
