Behind the alias hides the versatile musician and lyricist Malte Nordtorp, who has added vocals, trumpet, guitar and keys to names such as Lucky Lo, Guldimund, Andreas Odbjerg and others. In February 2023, Knægt released his debut album 'Månen Danser Pænest'. The album poetically conveys the many relatable facets of heartbreak, with both humor and a glimmer of hope. The debut album received five stars from GAFFA, which writes that the album "shines creatively and musically."
