The Spin Academy Showcase is the culminating event of FFP Spin Academy, designed to equip young creatives with both technical DJ skills and a foundation in creative entrepreneurship.
Over the course of 8 weeks, student-artists have developed their abilities in music selection, mixing, crowd awareness, and performance—while also exploring how DJing can serve as a viable income stream and creative practice. This showcase provides a platform for each participant to apply what they’ve learned in a live setting, building confidence, professional experience, and artistic identity.
Each DJ will perform a 15-minute set, demonstrating their unique style and approach to curating sound.
This event reflects FamFrequency’s broader goals: using music as a catalyst for skill-building, self-definition, and economic opportunity for young people.
