Hailing from Lower Hutt, Wellington, Joe has been tipped as a rising star following performances around the country as both a headliner and MC, including a season alongside nationally-renowned sketch group Frickin Dangerous Bro. This was cemented following an appearance in the 2018 Raw Comedy Quest Finals, all achieved prior to even his first full year as a comedian.
He also appears in his very own podcast and webseries, SHXT TALK with Joe Daymond which is available on iTunes, YouTube and Spotify and has already featured the likes of Phil Wang, Art Green & Matilda Rice, Jamie Curry, Guy Williams and many more.

He's written for popular comedy shows such as 7 Days and Have You Been Paying Attention? A regular at The Classic Comedy Club and @poppys.comedy (you think he lived there) he's the host of NZICF's 2024 show Crowd Pleaser, and in a master class of his own when it comes to crowd work.

Ed Amin who has performed in the New Zealand International Comedy Festival shows in 2019, 2021, and 2023. Co-owner and creator of the only comedy club in Auckland, Poppys—2024. He's also an RNZ panellist for The Panel and a columnist at his local paper, Local Matters.
Chester Jerrat / @chesterjerrat
Chester Jerrat got his start in comedy performing in the 2014 Class Comedians and was invited to perform in another show in the 2014 NZICF. In 2015 he made it to the semi-finals of the Raw Comedy Quest. Since then, he’s been performing all around Auckland. He did one gig in Melbourne, but it went terribly, let's not go into it. Chester offers a young man’s perspective on everything from money and jobs to self-confidence and New Zealand culture. Look out for Chester with his shit haircut and huge forehead performing at the Classic and beyond this year!

Described as “an unexpected delight” and “one to watch”, Liv McKenzie is a compelling young talent in the Christchurch comedy scene. She used to live in New York, but don’t worry, she’ll bring that up every 10 seconds so you don’t forget.

Edd Rivera is from the beautiful city of Tonala in the mighty state of Jalisco, Mexico. Growing up in what some might call a very hostile environment (or for Mexicans, any given Wednesday), Edd found comedy to be a relief (read: coping mechanism) for him and his loved ones.
Edd has shared the stage with top comedians in Guadalajara, Reno and San Francisco, and been performing his debut solo show “A Mexican Without Borders / Ese Wey Parece Isleño 2.0” in both English and Spanish to sold-out audiences in Auckland, Waiheke Island, Tauranga and Wellington, as well as at festivals such as Mexfestival and Sudaka Festival.

Bailey Poching / @broozer_
Bailey Poching is a writer, comedian and improviser who is fast becoming a fixture in the NZ Comedy scene. After making his TV debut on “The Comedy Mixtape” Bailey has gone on to appear on multiple episodes of “7 Days”.
Bailey, alongside Anthony Crum, took home “Best Debut” at the 2023 NZ Intl Comedy Fest for their outrageous duo show Hot Filthy Garbage!
Bailey has also performed improv as part of Aotearoa’s most successful improv group “Snort” as well as their successor improv team “Bull Rush” which can be found delighting audiences every Friday night at Basement.
