Live on the Bandstand: Burton Concert Band

Live music returns to the Gardens’ iconic bandstand this summer, with performances taking place on the second and fourth Sunday of each month.
Taking to the bandstand this week are the Burton Concert Band!
Burton Concert Band are a wind band of experienced musicians from Burton-upon-Trent, Derby and the surrounding areas. They enjoy a busy calendar of rehearsals, performances, social events and tours working with their professional conductor, Ed Temple.
They recently celebrated 30 years of music making in October 2023 and are still going strong today with regular concerts in Burton-upon-Trent, the Midlands and further afield. The band have seen success when in competing in National competitions including a Boosey & Hawkes Gold Medal and the National Wind Band Finals.
