About the Artist
When people think of singer songwriters, one might think of some self indulgent, dour, moody fellow or woman sitting on a stool in a coffee shop moaning out the woes of love lost and the state of the world being on the way to hell. Well, Jeffrey Dallet is pretty much the opposite of that. Not that he does moan out the woes of lost love or the ills of society, but there's a different energy when it comes to Dallet and his music.
Combining lyrical folk and high energy rock, Dallet formulates his style known as folk n’ roll. Yes, there are the staple protest songs and the pained lover laments, but it's in a style using classic sounds with a modern era high energy, that gives the listener a fresh twist on the singer songwriter genre.
If you have a chance to catch a live Dallet Band or Dallet solo show, you'll be entertained, informed and whisked away on an electric journey through his music catalog, and countless tales from his myriad odd jobs and experiences along the road. You might even hear some classic favorites.
