Tim Lamp is a favorite wherever he drops in to play the piano whether it be a jazz bar in the city or the cocktail bar on a luxury liner. A student of jazz from the renowned University of North Texas Jazz program, Tim has played coast-to-coast across all genres of music including everything from Big Band Swing to Pink Floyd tribute bands, even doing a stint with country artist Ray Price travelling in one of Willie Nelson’s infamous Honeysuckle Rose tour buses. But what he loves best is to sit down at the piano and lose himself and the audience in the timeless modal styles of jazz greats like Miles Davis and Bill Evans.
