Michelle “Songbird” Ray performs as a feature artist for various events throughout the Tri-State area whenever the opportunity arises, and considers each encounter a blessing!
In February 2018, “Songbird” became the lead vocalist of the B-Smooth Band where her first performance with the unit was during happy hour for the Philadelphia Eagles’ Superbowl parade at the famous Warmdaddy's Supper Club in South Philadelphia! She continued to perform with them on a monthly basis at the venue’s happy hour events until the 2020 pandemic.
With B-Smooth, “Songbird” has performed at the Willingboro (NJ) Jazz Festival, the Odunde African Festival in Philadelphia, the LaRose Jazz Club in Philadelphia, Kelsey’s Supper Club in Atlantic CIty NJ, Taste of Soul by Ms. Nancy Restaurant in Burlington City NJ, Jazz at the Wyndham in Mt. Laurel NJ, Wilson’s Live Entertainment & Restaurant in Hi-Nella NJ, Palmyra-Cinnaminson-Riverton’s annual Juneteenth Celebration in Palmyra NJ as well as hired for private events. They enjoy performing covers, but are working on an original project for release in the near future.
