Liturgist training schedule set for May
Pastor Jeff is planning two liturgist training sessions for people who want to continue as liturgists and for those who have to join this group of worship leaders. The liturgists are typically responsible for reading the scripture lessons, offering an invitation to action, and occasionally other parts of the worship service. When Pastor Jeff is away, the responsibilities increase. The new liturgist schedule will go from July 2026 through June 2027.
If you would like to join the liturgist team (or to continue on the team), please plan to be at one of the trainings. One will be on Sunday, May 17, 1:30-2:15, in the sanctuary. The other will be on Wednesday, May 20, 7:30-8:15 p.m., on Zoom.
Communion Elder training is significantly more involved, and Pastor Jeff only schedules a training when there are new people who want to become Communion Elders. If you want to become a Communion Elder, please contact Pastor Jeff and he will schedule a training.
