Little Saigon TET Open 2026 - Year of the Horse

In celebration of the Year of the Fire Horse, we are bringing back our beloved Tet (Vietnamese Lunar New Year) Open, and welcoming all players from all communities to compete!

***This is a ONE DAY 1-DAY tournament, so be ready to power through the entire day if you make it!***
***Junior event only for U14 (at the date of tournament)***
-Per the usual, register early to secure your spot and make it easier for the leveling committee to do their work.
-FIRST 50 registrants will receive a SPECIAL GIFT upon check in at the tournament upon! If you don't have a partner, indicate request...
-Any businesses or individuals interested in sponsoring, please reach out early, so you can work with our design team to incorporate your logo
-Volunteers are needed as usual, so please contact me if you are willing to put in some work to make sure things run smoothly!
General Rules
-Race to 31! scoring (as used in the MCB Smash-O-Lantern! tournament)
-Mixed and Doubles only
-3 events max per individual
-Funky, B, C, D, E, U14 (junior division)
-Elimination or Round Robin Pools depending on Roster size
-Yonex Shuttles only
Scoring
-B and Funky events, Main Draw AND pool play...1 set to 31 points, switch at 15, NO deuces
-C D E and U14 Round Robin POOLS will be 1 set to 21, switch at 11, no deuces
-Those who make it to the main draw will proceed with the 31 point system UNLESS otherwise posted.

Fees
Please ZELLE payments to Tuan La at the number you see listed. Indicate your NAME and EVENTS. Despite the rise in cost of shuttles, we are STILL able to keep the entry fee at $45 for the first event and $35 for the second and $25 for a 3RD! There is NO walk-in fee or Club fee, so rest assured, what you see is what you pay 😉
Please be sure to submit ENTRIES early so we can address leveling issues and prepare draws accordingly. Space is LIMITED for all events.

Shirts and Merch
-be sure to enter your sizes in the REMARKS/COMMENTS field when registering, Shirts will only be available to those registering for 2 events.
