About this Event
The Expo will take place Friday, November 7, 2025 inside the Great Hall at the U-Building and will run from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with flexible participation hours for attendees and vendors.
This partnership between Teamwork Englewood’s Early Childhood Learning Department and Kennedy King College reflects a shared mission: to remove barriers to education by making reliable childcare more accessible for student parents, local families, and working professionals.
This collaboration is about building stronger foundations for both little learners and their families—right here in Englewood.
Featuring a full schedule of speakers and activities, including remarks from:
Teamwork Englewood representatives, Kennedy King College leadership as well as representatives from Birth to Five Illinois, Department of Family and Support Services (DFSS), and Chicago Department of Public Health (WIC)
Attendees will enjoy interactive family engagement stations, early learning activities, and networking opportunities with Englewood’s trusted childcare providers, educators, and support agencies. Kennedy King College department representatives will be onsite sharing information about their: Rolling
Admissions, GED/ESL Classes, Student Support Services and Community Resources.
