Welcome spring on the farm with our May Little Farmers series—a month of hands-on classes designed to spark curiosity and celebrate the season. Each week brings a new adventure, from blooming orchards to garden planting and sweet strawberry harvests, all crafted just for young learners to explore, discover, and play.Little Farmers Education Classes are a hands-on learning experience designed especially for children ages 2–5. Classes are a $5 add-on to Farm Admission and are complimentary for Fan of the Farm Season Pass holders.
May 1 – Apple Blooms
Discover the magic of apple blossoms as little farmers learn how orchards come to life in spring through hands-on activities and exploration.
May 8 – Turkeys
Get to know one of the farm’s most curious birds—kids will learn all about turkeys, from their feathers to their funny behaviors.
May 15 – Demo Garden Planting ft. Gardner Stephanie
Join Gardener Stephanie for a hands-on planting experience where little farmers will dig in, plant seedlings, and learn how gardens grow.
May 22 – Farm Animal Footprints
Put on your detective hat and explore the farm through tracks and trails as kids learn to find animal footprints and who made them.
May 29 – Strawberries
Celebrate strawberry season with a sweet, hands-on class all about how these favorite berries grow—from blossom to harvest.
